Description

You will manage the conversion of Java/JEE applications to Maven and migrate projects to GitHub.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Convert Eclipse and RAD-compliant projects into Maven-based builds.
• Use GitHub Actions to build and publish projects.
• Automate deployments to WebSphere application servers.
• Collaborate with Automation and Operations teams to streamline delivery pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java and Java EE.
• 10+ years of experience with Git repository management.
• 8+ years of experience with WebSphere.
• 5+ years of experience with GitHub Actions.
• 5+ years of experience with Jython.
• 5+ years of experience with Unix/bash scripting.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting within a Unix environment.
• Experience with Maven build tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline optimization.
• Knowledge of WebSphere Liberty or Network Deployment.
