Description

You will implement automation and DevOps practices for Java applications, owning the migration to Maven structures and automated deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert Java/JEE applications to Maven structure.
• Manage project migration and version control within GitHub.
• Build and publish projects using GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployments to the WebSphere application server with the Operations team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java.
• 10+ years of experience with Java EE.
• 8+ years experience with WebSphere.
• 5+ years experience with GitHub Actions.
• 5+ years experience with Jython scripting.
• 5+ years experience with Unix/bash Scripting.
• 10+ years experience with Git Repo Management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python scripting.
