Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Java Technical Architect who has hands-on expertise in designing and delivering end-to-end enterprise solutions on AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate should not just have theoretical knowledge but must have real-world experience working as a Technical Architect, owning solution design, architecture decisions, and implementation strategies.

This role demands someone who understands the complete application landscape, can quickly propose scalable solutions, and lead development teams with strong architectural vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Java-based frameworks.
• Lead solution architecture on AWS Cloud, including infrastructure design and application deployment strategies.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs.
• Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to drive solutioning discussions.
• Perform application landscape assessment and recommend modernization strategies.
• Ensure system design meets performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Review code, architecture, and design documents to ensure alignment with standards.
• Drive adoption of microservices, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in Java development with at least 4–5 years as a Technical Architect.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture.
• Proven experience in designing end-to-end solutions on AWS Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
  • EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda
  • API Gateway, ECS/EKS
  • CloudFormation / Terraform
• Deep understanding of:
  • Distributed systems & system design
  • Application architecture & integration patterns
  • Scalability, performance tuning, and security
• Experience in modernizing legacy applications to cloud-native architecture.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and solutioning mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to event-driven architecture.
• Strong understanding of domain-driven design (DDD).
