Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Java and AWS, owning the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using JDK 1.8+, focusing on Spring Core, Spring Boot, and security.
• Design event-driven systems using Kafka, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ, handling producer/consumer logic and partitioning.
• Optimize application performance through JVM tuning, memory management, and profiling with tools like JMeter.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker for containerization.
• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Powermock to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong Java fundamentals (Collections, Generics, Multithreading, OOPS).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and transaction management.
• Proficiency in message brokers: Kafka, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ with event-driven design patterns.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL, joins, and indexing.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools: Jenkins, Docker, Maven/Gradle, and version control (Git/SVN).
• Familiarity with logging frameworks (SLF4J, Log4j, LogBack) and performance tuning.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed design patterns and complex data structures.
• Practical knowledge of JVM configuration and garbage collection tuning.
