Description

Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions while building secure, high-quality production code.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure production code and perform code reviews and debugging for team members.
• Automate remediation of recurring issues to improve software and system operational stability.
• Evaluate architectural designs and technical credentials from external vendors and internal teams.
• Lead communities of practice to drive the adoption of new technologies across software engineering.
• Execute system design, application development, and testing throughout the entire project life cycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of Java, J2SE, and J2EE including core APIs.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Spring Boot applications.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and application resiliency.
• Hands-on experience with automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Strong skills in software architecture, analysis, design, and coding for internet applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including IAM policy and AWS Databases.
• Experience with cloud deployment using Terraform.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or GCP.
