Description

Java AWS Developer responsible for building, testing, and maintaining microservices in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and debug Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and JPA.
• Develop and maintain RESTful microservices and web services (SOA).
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle for deployment to AWS and Kubernetes.
• Implement testing strategies using JUnit and Cucumber to ensure code quality.
• Monitor application performance and logs using APM tools and Splunk.

Required Skills

• Core Java and J2EE with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of REST, MQ, XML, and Web Services/SOA.
• Experience with JUnit and Cucumber for unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with APM and logging tools like Splunk.
• Version control with GIT or Bitbucket.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project management.
