Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug enterprise applications using Core Java and J2EE.
• Implement AWS solutions utilizing ECS, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Aurora, ALB, and Route 53.
• Build and deploy code to production environments using CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
• Develop RESTful microservices and manage messaging via Kafka and MQ.
• Monitor application health using APM and Splunk logging tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of application development experience.
• Expertise in Core Java, J2EE, XML, and Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JPA).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Amazon Aurora.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, and Kafka.
• Experience with REST, Web Services/SOA, and MQ.
• Solid testing skills using JUnit and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of build and deployment tools including Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
