Description

Lead technical design and development for Java-based systems, translating UI and mid-tier specifications into robust system architectures. You will own the full development lifecycle, from functional requirement analysis to code, unit testing, and integration testing using Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert UI and mid-tier design specifications and prototypes into scalable system designs.
• Translate functional requirements into detailed technical system designs and lead design reviews.
• Code, unit test, and integration test applications using TDD practices to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, determine root causes for defects, and verify functionality fixes.
• Escalate issues and dependencies to the Scrum Master or Delivery Manager and expedite environment outages via incident management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and building Microservices.
• Experience designing and consuming REST Services.
• Frontend expertise with Angular 16, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficient in writing unit tests using JUnit.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
