Description

Design and implement scalable microservices and APIs while managing the migration of workloads from on-premises data centers to AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy REST and SOAP APIs using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Architect and execute the transfer of workloads from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Perform requirement analysis to develop process designs and technical solutions.
• Maintain and monitor distributed applications using industry-standard observability tools.
• Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural support to the team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, EKS, ELB, VPC, RDS, Route 53, and DynamoDB.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE technology stacks and Spring Boot or Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in RDBMS (Oracle) and No-SQL technologies such as Apache Cassandra or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with distributed messaging systems like MQ or Kafka.
• Proven ability to build and deploy APIs within AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing tools like Mockito and working with websockets.
• Competency in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Jules.
• Must hold an AWS Developer or AWS Solution Architect certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Banking domain.
• Knowledge of Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, or shell scripting.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, or Datadog.
