Description

Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions while ensuring high-quality production code through rigorous review and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews for team members.
• Automate remediation of recurring issues to improve software and system operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical applicability.
• Drive awareness of new technologies by leading software engineering communities of practice.
• Execute full-lifecycle application development, including system design, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of Java, J2SE, and J2EE including core APIs.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Spring Boot applications.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security.
• Degree or formal training in software engineering concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including IAM policy and AWS Databases.
• Experience with cloud deployment using Terraform.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or GCP.
