Description

Design and maintain scalable backend applications and data processing solutions using Java, Python, and AWS/Azure services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize cloud-native applications and high-performance data pipelines using Spark.
• Implement serverless solutions with AWS Lambda and manage relational/NoSQL databases including SQL, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Ensure application reliability, scalability, and security best practices across distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of overall IT experience with strong programming in Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud Platforms.
• Strong experience in SQL and database management, including DynamoDB and RDS.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
