You will develop and maintain scalable applications within an AWS environment, focusing on performance optimization and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure efficient execution.
• Conduct regular security assessments and performance checks to resolve potential issues.
• Oversee the full application lifecycle, including updates, releases, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Integrate emerging technologies and industry trends into the development process.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (JDK 1.7/1.8), Struts, and Spring (Core, IOC, MVC, DAO, ORM).
• Extensive experience with AWS native services: EC2, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, CloudWatch, Fargate, and DynamoDB.
• Proven experience with event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in container management using Docker and Kubernetes or EKS.
• Extensive DevOps experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Nexus Repository Manager.
• Expertise in Git or Bitbucket for version control.
• Experience with Hibernate, JPA, and JSP.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence) and IntelliJ IDE.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Datadog for monitoring.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Domain experience in insurance or payment gateway integrations.
