Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software systems using Java and AWS native services. You will build and update services and APIs to meet current and future project requirements. You will oversee peer code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems using SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.

Responsibilities

• Design and test software systems using Java and J2EE technologies.
• Build and update services and APIs for project requirements.

• Implement software using SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
• Proficiency with Hibernate, Servlets, JNDI, JMS, and JDBC.
• Experience developing SOAP and REST-based web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS native services including Lambda, S3, and Kinesis Stream.
• Competency with AWS ECS, Fargate, Step Functions, EC2, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Docker and CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Java EE design patterns and concurrent programming.
• Ability to work within SDLC frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API gateway solutions.
