Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software systems using Java and AWS native services.

Responsibilities

• Design and test software systems using Java and J2EE technologies.
• Build and update services and APIs to meet current and future project requirements.
• Oversee peer code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems using SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
• Proficiency with Hibernate, Servlets, JNDI, JMS, and JDBC.
• Experience developing SOAP and REST-based web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS native services including Lambda, S3, and Kinesis Stream.
• Competency with AWS ECS, Fargate, Step Functions, EC2, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Docker and CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Java EE design patterns and concurrent programming.
• Ability to work within SDLC frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API gateway solutions.
