Description

You will build, optimize, and maintain cloud-native microservices on AWS using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful/SOAP services.
• Design and implement cloud-native applications utilizing AWS infrastructure.
• Debug, tune, and optimize application components for performance.
• Manage data processing tasks involving XML, JSON, and various file formats.
• Integrate message-oriented middleware and SOA design patterns into existing architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
• Deep expertise in Spring framework: Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Web, Spring Data.
• Strong proficiency in Java OOP/OOD, threading, collections, and exception handling.
• Extensive experience with SOAP and RESTful services.
• Solid SQL skills with Oracle and hands-on experience with Aurora DB.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services: R53, S3, EKS, Private Link, VPC endpoints, DNS, NLB, ALB, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, Transit Gateway, IAM.
• Experience with JDBC and parsing XML, JSON, delimited, and fixed-length files.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Tekton, Harness, Jenkins, Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• PL/SQL programming expertise.
• Experience developing applications within the Financial Services industry.
