Description

Lead public cloud migrations and design resilient, secure platforms on AWS while owning end-to-end platform issues and system performance optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute software design, development, and technical troubleshooting for complex systems.
• Design and deploy web environments using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and EKS.
• Drive resiliency through game days, testing, and chaos engineering exercises.
• Automate routine tasks and optimize system performance to meet customer needs.
• Own end-to-end platform issues and resolve build bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (version 8+), Python, or Go.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS, ALB, NLB, SQS/SNS, and Route53.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tooling: Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and SonarQube.
• Practical knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and Open Source RDBMS.
• Proven track record delivering high-volume, SLA-critical, event-driven architectures.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Associate level certification (Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps).
• Experience with Apache Kafka and observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, or Grafana.
