Description

You will lead application migration to AWS, driving end-to-end feature development and system modernization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing applications to AWS, refactoring systems for workload modernization and cloud readiness.
• Design and develop microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Python, ensuring adherence to SOLID principles.
• Implement automated testing platforms, unit tests, and validation activities across multiple environments.
• Analyze client requirements, create detailed design artifacts, and perform code reviews to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks, and recommend system solutions to optimize performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services including VMs, PaaS, containers, serverless, and storage.
• Experience in microservice development and containerization.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, RESTful APIs, and cloud SDKs.
• Familiarity with Python for application development.
• Knowledge of design patterns, software development processes, and agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing platforms and unit testing frameworks.
• Understanding of estimation methodologies and quality processes.
