Description

Design and implement technical solutions for property and casualty insurance systems, owning the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFP proposals by providing technical designs and effort estimates.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy critical application components using Java and AWS.
• Gather requirements and prepare implementable designs and release plans.
• Review technical deliverables to ensure adherence to client standards.
• Create and maintain standardized documentation for all implemented solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience providing technical solutions in Property & Casualty insurance.
• Deep expertise in Java and AWS services, including Lambda, EKS, SQS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Strong backend knowledge of REST microservices (JAX-RS), Spring Boot, and SOAP.
• Proficiency with message streaming via Kafka and frontend technologies including React, Redux, NodeJS, and ES6.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab-CI, Helm, and Gradle.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Kibana, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Experience with databases including IBM-DB2 and Oracle.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire experience.
