Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices on AWS with a focus on CI/CD and high availability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable RESTful microservices using Core Java, Spring Boot, and JPA.
• Implement and manage AWS infrastructure including ECS, EC2, S3, Aurora, API Gateway, ALB, and Route 53.
• Orchestrate containerized deployments using Kubernetes and manage event streaming with Kafka.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle with Git/Bitbucket.
• Drive application quality through JUnit and Cucumber testing, and monitor performance using APM and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Core Java and J2EE.
• Deep expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JPA, and REST APIs.
• Proven experience designing and deploying microservices on AWS (ECS, EC2, S3, Aurora, API Gateway, ALB, Route 53).
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration and Kafka for messaging.
• Experience with XML, Web Services/SOA, and MQ technologies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and Git/Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber) and monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, APM).
• Experience working in Agile environments with JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Batch for large-scale batch processing.
