Description

Java Back-end Developer based in London, UK. Remote option available.

Responsibilities

  • Develop microservices using Java SDK 8+ and Spring Boot.
  • Integrate Azure or AWS services into the application architecture.
  • Manage Oracle or similar database interactions and SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile framework to deliver features.
  • Maintain the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of industry experience in IT.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud services.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Familiarity with React for front-end integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with financial markets, instruments, or trade lifecycle.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka.
