Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java back-end applications.

Estimate, plan, and implement new features and enhancements.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Improve and maintain existing codebases following software engineering best practices.

Develop and consume RESTful APIs and ensure reliable HTTP response handling.

Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and recommend optimal technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the development process.

Meet project milestones while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Help define the engineering direction for current and future applications.

Required Skills

8–12 years of professional experience in Java back-end development.

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.

Experience designing and developing scalable web applications.

Strong expertise in building and consuming REST APIs.

Experience with backend web service frameworks.

Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Experience with Git, version control, and bug tracking tools.

Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional teams
