Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices focused on efficient data processing and real-time messaging.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data pipelines using Kafka streams, topics, producers, and consumers for high-throughput data exchange.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize relational database operations.
• Integrate microservices with Kafka messaging systems, ensuring reliable and secure data flow.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrating with third-party services while maintaining data integrity.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing services in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher) for data-intensive applications.
• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex query writing, database optimization, and stored procedures.
• Deep understanding of Apache Kafka architecture, including Streams, producer/consumer patterns, and topic management.
• Hands-on experience integrating Kafka with microservices for real-time data processing.
• Solid experience designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
