Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, optimized, and maintainable code following industry-standard best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Manage data persistence and integration across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Write unit tests using JUnit, practicing TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams using Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11), including Collections, Multi-Threading, and Lambdas.
• Expertise in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, and Spring Resources.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and JPA.
• Proficiency in database management with MongoDB, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Experience with messaging systems like MQ Series or Kafka.
• Competency with Git and Jenkins for CI/CD and DevOps integration.
• Practical knowledge of TDD using Concordion and BDD using Cucumber/Gherkin.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RabbitMQ or other streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and HTML5.
