Description

Design and implement scalable, highly available backend components using Java. Own the release pipeline, including automated testing and CI/CD delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable server-side software components.
• Develop automated tests and deliver code through CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and standards.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design documents.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to resolve production issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of server-side development with Java.
• Demonstrated experience working at PayPal.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Web Services.
• Proficiency with relational databases.
• Solid knowledge of basic algorithms and computer engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with unit and functional testing.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
