You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and microservices architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and microservices.
• Implement backend logic following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Design and maintain APIs to support frontend requirements.
• Manage data persistence and integration using SQL.
• Collaborate on full-stack elements including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when required.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience designing and consuming Microservices and APIs.
• Working knowledge of SQL for database management.
• Competency in frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX, on a hybrid schedule (3 days per week).
• Must be a local candidate.
