Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend components for Blue Planet Inventory, focusing on telecom network inventory models and system integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement System Integration Framework (SIF) mappings and Guided Operations.
• Develop and optimize inventory models for telecom networks, supporting PNFs and VNFs.
• Integrate Blue Planet Inventory with external systems such as EMS/NMS, OSS/BSS, and orchestration layers.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance through unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of Java backend development experience, preferably in telecom OSS environments.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Hands-on experience with Blue Planet Inventory (BPI) modules and metadata modeling.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Neo4j databases.
• Familiarity with Kafka integration and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and relational/graph database concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Telecom domain expertise, including network protocols and service modeling.
