Description

You will develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices deployable within AWS.
• Integrate backend systems with core AWS services including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS/SQS, and CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to deliver end-to-end features.
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (version 8 or higher).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, RDS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) or orchestration tools (ECS/Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications.
• GCP experience.
