Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Develop robust database integrations using SQL (MySQL/DB2) and ensure application performance and security.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito), and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Mentor junior developers, define technical best practices, and collaborate with architects and product owners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, OOP, Collections, Generics, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and ORM frameworks.
• Experience building RESTful services, JSON processing, and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, DB2).
• Proficiency with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control (Git).
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to microservices architecture and messaging systems like Kafka or JMS.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
