Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Framework.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement microservices-based applications using Java and Spring.
• Analyze system requirements to identify necessary enhancements and programming solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, security testing, and debugging to ensure application robustness.
• Collaborate with users and technology groups to resolve technical issues and recommend solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and serve as a subject matter expert for the team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development and applications development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience building and maintaining microservices architectures.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and exercise judgment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of script tools, code analysis, and risk assessment.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and security testing.
• Ability to mentor and coach team members.
