Description

You will own the development and maintenance of scalable backend services using Java and microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement high-performance backend services following microservices patterns.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from coding to deployment.
• Analyze user requirements to define system business objectives and application functionality.
• Develop, unit test, and maintain production application code.
• Prepare and produce software releases using agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Expertise with Spring Boot and Spring REST.
• Proficiency with microservices patterns.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle RDBMS and MySQL.
• Experience implementing message queuing with Kafka.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipeline tools like Jenkins.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Maven.
• Working knowledge of Gitlab and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hibernate.
