Description

You will design and develop backend components for highly scalable eCommerce and merchandising applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications using cloud platform technologies.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on product design and implementation.
• Work with full-stack engineers to build and ship new features.
• Identify and uphold engineering best practices.
• Monitor performance and usability to rectify traffic or stability issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing large-scale web applications.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot (Persistence, REST, Messaging, Integrations).
• Experience with Microservices architecture and design.
• Proficiency with Apache Storm and Golang or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Experience with messaging architectures such as Kafka, MQ Series, or equivalent.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and applying REST principles.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests.
