You will build and maintain backend systems for large-scale distributed data processing.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize distributed Big Data processing pipelines for batch and offline workloads at the terabyte scale.
• Write high-quality, clean code following strict object-oriented programming principles.
• Implement automated testing and adhere to engineering best practices to ensure code reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver results in a professional technical environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with Java.
• 2+ years of experience using SparkSQL and Hive, including a deep understanding of their internal mechanics.
• Proven experience handling distributed Big Data processing for datasets in the terabyte range.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
• University degree in Computer Related Sciences or a similar field.
• Proficiency in written and oral English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python development.
