Description

Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and RESTful APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy microservices using Java/J2EE and REST web services.
• Manage asynchronous messaging and event streaming with RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Design and optimize data storage solutions using relational SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Automate operational functions and testing scripts using Python.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver incremental value.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java and J2EE development.
• Strong proficiency in building RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with build tools, specifically Gradle.
• Deep understanding of message brokers: RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and NoSQL systems, particularly MongoDB.
• Ability to write Python scripts for automation tasks.
• Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
