Description

You will build and support highly available, resilient, and performant backend systems on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Java and Scala.
• Implement reactive programming patterns and asynchronous APIs.
• Integrate messaging frameworks and handle complex Kafka use cases.
• Manage and deploy services across AWS infrastructure.
• Monitor system health using CloudWatch logs, metrics, and traces.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8 or above, including functional and asynchronous APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Scala 2.
• Understanding of reactive programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Akka and Akka Streams.
• Experience with Kafka for advanced messaging integration.
• Proficiency with AWS services: DynamoDB, Neptune, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, and ECS.
• Experience with DevOps and observability using CloudWatch.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
