Description

Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications and infrastructure components in an Agile environment. You will own the full lifecycle from coding and debugging to integrated testing and customer acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and debug high-complexity programs and system modules.
• Lead project management, programming, and system administration efforts.
• Identify and resolve complex technical problems, including off-shift and weekend support.
• Develop major system modules and infrastructure based on customer requirements.
• Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing to ensure quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Extensive experience designing and developing software applications in Java.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, including CloudFormation, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, Elasticsearch, and S3.
• Strong understanding of IAM roles and policies.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases including DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, and Oracle.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using Swagger, Postman, and Assertible.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns including MVC, Microservices, and Event-driven design.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and batch/stream processing via AWS SQS, SNS, or Kinesis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within a Scrum framework.
