Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Java 17 and AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications at scale using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement application architectural patterns including Microservices, MVC, and Event-driven architectures.
• Deploy and maintain software using CI/CD tools and public cloud environments.
• Develop well-defined RESTful APIs and manage them using Swagger, Postman, or Assertible.
• Lead small to medium-scale projects impacting strategic priorities.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience designing and developing software applications in Java (Java 17 or higher preferred).
• Strong AWS experience including API Gateway, ALB, NLB, Fargate, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with message streaming solutions such as AWS Kinesis, SQS, SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with datastores including AWS Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Redis, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing tools like Cucumber and Selenium.
• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Ability to debug and maintain software on Linux or Unix platforms.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
