Description

You design, develop, and maintain Java applications that drive business operations, owning the full software development lifecycle from feature definition to scalable deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex performance issues to ensure optimal speed and security.
• Lead and mentor junior developers while conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical documentation, and agile improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in core Java development.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless functions.
• Strong SQL database skills (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
• Working knowledge of at least one NoSQL database.
• Familiarity with Java 8 lambda syntax and functional programming concepts.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code based on explained logic.
