Description

You will build complex Java applications focused on low latency, high throughput, and multi-threading requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java batch applications that connect to relational databases using JDBC.
• Build Java web services and RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and SOAP.
• Manage application deployment using containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Helm.
• Integrate middleware solutions including Kafka, RabbitMQ, and MQ Series.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with J2EE, EJB, JavaBeans, Servlets, and Struts.
• Experience with relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server, MS Access, or Yugabyte.
• Knowledge of Java application containers including Docker, PodMan, AKS, Kubernetes, and OCP.
• Competency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or UNIX scripting.
• Experience with Java build tools and automation via Jenkins, Ansible, RunDeck, and Helm.
• Working knowledge of Java Transaction or JPA.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WebSphere or WLP middleware.
