Description

You will design and build backend services using Java, owning API development and sprint commitments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API-based solutions using REST API and GraphQL.
• Estimate task effort and dependencies, owning team commitments within the Sprint.
• Resolve complex technical problems and identify memory leaks, profiling issues, and crashes.
• Improve development tool usage and contribute to best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Management and internal teams.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software design and development.
• Very strong development experience with Java 11, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in API design and development using REST API and GraphQL.
• Proficiency with multi-threading concepts and unit/integration testing (JUnit5, Mockito).
• Strong understanding of NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL databases.
• Deep understanding of Design Patterns and ability to model Class and Data Models.
• Experience with CI/AppSec tools such as Sonar, Coverity, or Whitesource.
• Experience operating in an Agile environment with a deep understanding of agile principles.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on development experience with Linux OS.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
