Description

You will build and maintain scalable microservices and backend systems using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Spring Framework and Java.
• Build scalable enterprise-level application services to meet business requirements.
• Implement REST APIs and manage code within GitLab repositories.
• Handle application containerization and cloud migration tasks.
• Apply coding best practices including TDD, Lean Agile, and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot Microservices, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka messaging and Slf4j logging.
• Proficiency in ReactJS for frontend integration.
• Deep knowledge of Relational Databases, Oracle, and SQL.
• Experience with ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra.
• Practical experience developing REST APIs.
• Competency in GitLab for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with app containerization and cloud migration.
• Familiarity with TDD and CI/CD pipelines.
