Description

Design and maintain backend services, data pipelines, and real-time streaming architectures using Java and related technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models using dimensional modeling techniques.
• Process structured and unstructured data through ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Manage and automate CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Git.
• Integrate and manage real-time data streams using Kafka.
• Utilize big data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark for large-scale data processing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Scala.
• Expertise in SQL and HiveQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with big data ecosystems including Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with ETL tools like AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of data lakes and real-time streaming concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks.
• Background in dimensional modeling.
