Description

You will develop and maintain backend services for enterprise applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize IBM WebSphere Commerce backend services, data beans, and business objects.
• Integrate WCS with third-party systems using REST/SOAP web services and other protocols.
• Optimize backend components for scalability and high traffic loads.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• 2+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS).
• Proficiency in Core Java (JDK 8+) and J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, EJBs, JMS).
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases like DB2 or Oracle.
• Experience integrating systems via REST/SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Jira.
• Experience with performance tuning for backend systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS).
