Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 20+ and Spring Boot. You own the full lifecycle of secure, versioned REST APIs for web, mobile, and AI integrations. You investigate production issues across services, databases, and cloud infrastructure to ensure platform stability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize backend services using Java 20+ and Spring Boot for high-scale applications.
• Design secure, versioned REST APIs for web, mobile, admin, partner, and AI systems.
• Review and improve application structure, dependency versions, Tomcat configuration, and memory usage.
• Investigate production issues across services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor junior developers, review pull requests, and define backend release standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Java proficiency.
• 4+ years of hands-on Spring Boot experience.
• Strong experience with Java 17/21+, Spring ecosystem, and microservices architecture.
• Production cloud platform experience, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implementation of Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB), event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or AWS Lambda.
• Background in multi-tenant SaaS, EdTech, or marketplace platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML API integration and vector search.
