Description

You will build and maintain scalable microservices and optimized RESTful APIs within an Agile environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Java 8 or above.
• Write unit tests using JUnit and perform BDD testing with Mockito.
• Manage build and deployment processes using Maven and automated CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Automation stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product features.
• Participate in Agile SCRUM practices to deliver software in a collaborative setting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in object-oriented programming.
• Deep expertise in Java 8 features including Functional interfaces, Lambda Expressions, Streams, Parallel Streams, and Completable futures.
• Proficiency with Java concurrency API improvements and collections APIs.
• Experience building microservices with Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and distributed computing.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito for testing.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience using Maven for artifact deployment.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment.
