Description

Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Apache Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven systems using Apache Kafka for distributed messaging.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming.
• Experience designing microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
