Description

You will lead backend development, migrate legacy systems to AWS microservices, and ensure database integrity using MySQL. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain AWS-hosted microservices, converting legacy applications.
• Debug and resolve production issues during EST business hours.
• Manage and optimize MySQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Liaise between the development team and onshore business stakeholders.
• Oversee backend engineering practices and code quality.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional programming experience in Java.
• Strong proficiency with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience managing MySQL databases.
• Experience architecting and deploying applications within AWS environments.
• Familiarity with Docker and Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
