Description

You will own the development and architecture of backend services and RESTful APIs for the Future Workforce Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and data pipelines to improve workforce management.
• Lead the discovery phase for medium to large projects, designing high-level system architectures.
• Develop and enhance complex browser-rendered applications and client-server interfaces.
• Execute business plans and projects to meet defined technical and operational objectives.
• Apply industry research to continuously improve the technology environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend engineering or similar roles.
• Extensive experience building scalable, highly available applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Deep understanding of Core Java, including Collections, Concurrent Programming, and multi-threading.
• Expert knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
• Strong commercial experience with Python.
• Proficiency with MySQL.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks, including JUnit.
• Proven ability to work within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building fast and responsive web applications.
