Description

You will design and maintain complex backend systems using Java and enterprise frameworks. You will own the development of scalable services, ensuring robust architecture and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using core Java and Spring frameworks.
• Apply software design principles, including MVC, design patterns, and multithreading, to solve technical challenges.
• Manage data persistence using JPA, Hibernate, and relational (DB2) or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Build and maintain automated build processes using Gradle and Jenkins.
• Implement behavior-driven development (BDD) practices using JBehave or Cucumber.

Required Skills

• 7-15 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Deep understanding of core Java: class loading, garbage collection, Collections API, Reflections API, and Java 8 Streams/Functional Programming.
• Expertise in software design: data structures, graph data, algorithms, recursion, and caching.
• Proficiency with Spring, JSR-303, Logback, JUnit, and Apache Commons.
• Experience with RESTful Web services and enterprise Java technologies like JAX-RS, JTAs, and Jetty/Tomcat.
• Strong command of Git for source code management.
• Solid knowledge of SQL (DB2) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TDD, BPM/BPMN tooling, and Snowflake DB.
• Knowledge of React JS, Unix/Linux, Liquibase, HTTP, XML, and JSON.
