You will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and distributed systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Design distributed system patterns, including event-driven architecture, service discovery, and caching strategies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, managing containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize database interactions using SQL and NoSQL stores, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Mentor engineering teams, drive technical decisions, and manage stakeholder communications for solution delivery.

Required Skills

• 8–15+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Core Java and Java 8+ features (Streams, Lambdas).
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions for DevOps and deployment.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication.
• Database expertise in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API gateways, and system design principles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in solution architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF.
