Description

Required Qualifications
 

• 7+ years of hands‑on backend development experience using Core Java (Java 8 or above)
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, specifically:
  • Spring Batch and
  • Spring Boot
• Proven experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and batch‑oriented data processing
• Experience building and supporting RESTful services
• Strong grasp of object‑oriented design principles, multithreading, and performance optimization
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models
• Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and remediate issues affecting production applications.
• Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including team interaction and communication skills including ability to work in cross‑functional teams
• Experience with messaging and streaming platforms:
  • Apache Kafka
  • RabbitMQ
  • Other MQ / event‑driven systems
• Experience with file‑based integration patterns, including:
  • SFTP
  • Secure file sharing services
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Control‑M or equivalent)
• Understanding cloud-native enterprise applications deployed in PCF, AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools - GitHub/Git Actions
